Imagine this: you are living a normal day in your life. Maybe you are out with friends, eating your family's home-cooked meal or spending time with your girlfriend. When you next wake up, you are suddenly thrust into a strange, new world, surrounded by five strangers on a rapidly sinking boat in the middle of a storm.
For Natsu Iwashimizu, this is her new reality. Humanity has perished, and all that remains of the Japanese population are five groups of men and women who were chosen to be sent to the future in hopes of continuing mankind's existence. While every other person chosen has a useful talent such as martial arts, knowledge, or architecture, Natsu is a shy high school girl who cannot even raise her voice to shout. The new world is dangerous beyond imagination, and although Natsu seems to lack helpful skills, she must go with the others making their way to the "Seven Fuji" in order to survive.

If you haven't read the manga, It's not a bad show to watch. It has some psychology, spiced with drama, and "what's gonna be next" thing.
The 1st season is much better than 2nd. If you like survival tv shows like uncharted walker, 78, class of the elite, another, then watch this as well. Even if you don't go as far as the 2nd season you can at least give a shot, and go for manga after this.
In my opinion, the show is underrated but still had the 2nd season despite low marks. Recommended.
What the show has to offer?
1. Characters undergo a Test
...
of Moral principles not just survival as there is no supervision at least they think so
2. Societal principles of exclusion from the tribe. Conflict
3. Survival, some good cunning
5. Ethics of the government's decision
6. Characters are new to each other. So they rub the other way till settled.
7. Crisis dilemma: to lend a hand or not, trust or not, believe or not, kill or not, to be or better die, what to eat, natural disasters, heart calls, emotional growth. Good or bad. Decisions are to be made. Different attitudes towards life
Not sure who's gonna read as far as here. Some characters are dumb but if there were no dumb characters it would be a 10/10 show. You shouldn't expect something great from a 2nd tier show. It doesn't claim to be Naruto (not everyone likes it though) or hit like dandadan. It wasn't as unpredictable. There are clichΓ© moments and 2d characters. If kept in mind, then you know what you go for. If you wanted this genre then you're gonna get it. There are much worse shows out there. For the survival genre it's pretty good. It does have some logic.
Netflix shows have a good dub and are not so bad in terms of production quality.

7Seeds felt like it had the makings of a great anime, but with poor execution. I havenβt read the manga, but the Anime itself felt more akin to a poorly thought out summer flick/series. Additionally there was not enough there to set it apart from better (in my opinion) anime like βHigh School Of The Deadβ and βThe Island Of Giant Insectsβ which cover similar apocalyptic themes (but with a different skin).
It just felt like an overwhelmingly generic experience; one only slightly better than βBlue Gender (which was one of the most generic and boring anime I have ever watched)β and βGeneshaft (which in fact
...
is the most generic/boring anime I have ever had the misfortune of watching)β. However, despite the aforementioned, I still enjoyed it for what it was and as long as one is not expecting anything spectacular; theyβll enjoy it.
Good for a single watch, but I have a feeling only dedicated fans will be watching this more than once.
I give a 6 out of 10.

This first season had potential to offer; in terms of story we can understand where this is taking us but however the animation is horribly poorly done and sloppy. It's really worthy of a Netflix anime, average and bad.
At most, some characters are really annoying but I imagine that plays a role...
The reactions are passable, most are stupid at best.
It's just one more anime to add to your list without really expecting anything exceptional, that said if they could better use the potential of the story and make an effort on the animation it could give interest to the anime.
