Yes, it's not necessarily criticizing the show, but the people that have problems with sensitive content alrdy have a strong bias against it, so its very likely that they'll give a worse rating and/or write a more harsh review about it. Ok so grape is unecessary? Doesn't add anything to the narrative? Fine, let's remove any kind of violence or violent acts as well since they are not necessary (cuz it hurts my feelings). Murder/killing is objectively worse than grape, yet people mainly tend to have no problems with it. There's nothing much to add cuz it's simple, r17/18+ have sensitive topics/scenes and the rest doesn't, don't like the fact that it's explicit content? don't interact with it. something like that.
Anime already have their own ratings (most media does), do u expect a disney princess story to take place within a r17+ anime? Not only r these warnings are unecessary, they're also self reports for how detached from reality you are (public executions took place for thousands of years and people did not see a problem with them, now that they're gone there's more people like you). Are you going to have a breakdown because of grape within a r18+ story? Apparently, yes. Not only do these stories not represent real occurrances, the "humans" within the stories don't even resemble real humans, or do u see humans when you watch anime? The main problem with this is that you guys clearly criticize more and give lower ratings to stories that have sensitive topics, even though ratings exist (well done btw)? Sensitive topics don't make a story instantly bad just because you dislike such topics (wow really? yes, really). You clearly put yourself in a spot in which you wouldn't like to be (seeing sensitive content), and then you proceed to complain about it. (how generous of me, trying to reason with an unreasonable person)
didn't know that making fun of someone = crying (great argument). literally defending a guy that puts "TRIGGER WARNING: SEXUAL ASSAULT" at the start of his reviews (lmfao am ded), actual npcs with barely any conscience or soul shouldn't be writing reviews, nor telling people what to do.
