How I score things, I basically use the default meaning for each score, just like the one in MAL.
Anything above a 5 is positive (5 being not positive nor negative). Anything above 6 is really good anything above 7 is no joke.

10 - Masterpiece - Absolute perfection, my type of show. It has brilliant writing or at least style (Monster, Texhnolyze, YST/TTG, 3-Gatsu no Lion) and it uses extremely minor minor tropes. Tropes that are very small they can easily be overlooked. So small that it can even be hard to notice. Unique and masterfully created shows. The face of Anime. (Monster, Texhnolyze, The Tatami Galaxy).
9 - Great/Outstanding - Loved it completely, I might start fanboying all over it. It has brilliant writing and uses less tropes and cliches.
8 - Very Good/Wonderful - awesome, an absolutely fun and enjoyable show which I love a lot.
Alternate possibility, actually a 7 or 6 but due to it usually being part of a series which I enjoy, I become biased and push the rating up to 8. Durarara x2 Shou being a good example.
7 - Good - I really liked it a lot and enjoyed it so much, it was a solid show with a little flaws. Very solid.
6 - Fine/Not Bad - I like it and enjoyed some of it, nothing special. It's a step higher from being completely average but also a step lower from being actually pretty good.
5 - Average - full of Average stuff, nothing special, instead of having more flaws than positives, it's balanced. King's Raid being a good example, it has many many flaws but it's also sort of interesting in my point of view. I enjoyed some parts of it all while knowing it's actually really average. The lack of positivity is the major flaw
4 - Bad
3 - Very Bad
2 - Terrible
1 - Appalling/Disgusting/Horrifying, hate it with all of my heart, I find 0 plus points and I never enjoyed even one second of it or I just hate it so much, and don't care about the plus points because of my hate.

ED: Gives you some time to think about the episode with music playing in the background which is similar to the story and your thoughts.
You also get to pick up several bangers so why not?

Monster is the best anime of all time and possibly the best written media with the best villain in media of all time.
To be honest, I DO NOT consider Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei / Tatami Galaxy to be an anime. It's just another piece of art.
