The soil was collected on August 20, 2014 at 9:08 pm. The air temperature at collection was 22.2˚C. The soil was fairly dry, and it was extracted from a 5cm deep hole near the roots of a large pine tree. The surrounding area was well-shaded, and dead leaves covered the ground
Plaques were circular and turbid when grown at 32ºC. Over time, they grew larger in diameter, and as the plaques grew, the edges became more defined, and a more turbid center developed. Plaque size growth over time was observed consistently, and new plaques would also continue to form and develop as time passed. When incubated at 42℃, no plaques grew.
