I’ve been passionate about WordPress since 2009. I currently work as an AI Product Manager at Extendify and am the creator of PainelWP, a free weekly newsletter about WordPress in Portuguese, published since June 2019. Featured in People of WordPress in 2023, I organized monthly meetups in Curitiba for 7 years and am now the organizer of the WordPress Brasil Meetup Online. I’ve learned so much from what others have shared, and I believe everyone has something different to teach, so I’m always looking for ways to keep this cycle growing. I enjoy sharing what I learn by blogging about it and speaking at events.

Fascinated by the internet since childhood, I built my first website in HTML at age 11. When the time came to choose my undergraduate, there was no doubt it would be something related to computers, and I chose Computer Science at UFPR. During college, I also wanted to explore other fields and decided to create a blog to write movie reviews. Looking for a platform where I could easily publish texts without worrying about code (since I was already doing that every day at school) I discovered WordPress. It didn’t take long and, in 2009, I launched my first public blog about movies, which later became a bigger project with collaborators from several cities in Brazil. Even though my focus was more on content creation, I began learning how to create themes and customize the platform. In one of these researches, I found out that a WordCamp was going to happen in my city. Even not knowing a lot about it, I decided to attend. That was WordCamp Curitiba 2010, and after that experience I decided to become an active member of the community.
