WordPress Origin Story
I wanted a “realtime” version of my blog, which was running Movable Type back then.
Moved in june of 2004 to WordPress 1.2. Soon after that I adopted WordPress in my day job.
After the late September / early October 2024 events, I’ve decided to stop contributing to WordPress other than my day job. That was a nice 20 year run.
