In the Anglican church young people (aged approximately 12+) and adults who have been baptised can choose to be confirmed by the bishop as a sign of choosing to be a Christian for themselves (as opposed to a previous commitment from their parents),  

A confirmation service is held each year by arrangement with our Diocesan Bishop, Sean Semple.

To prepare for this service, there are confirmation classes led by members of the ministry team  exploring topics, such as our understanding of God, how to grow as Christians and what it means to be part of a church.
