What do people here want in Talos 3? Here's my list:

- Bring back the turrets, explosive drones, and other lethal puzzle elements. Their adrenaline thrill helped to make the puzzles even more exciting.

- Add puzzle elements that uses things found in nature, like redirecting water flows, instructing animals to perform tasks for food, seeding plants (that would grow over time and be ready when you come back later in the game's story), and so on, because the game's plot is taking place in the real world now. For example, growing plants to make their roots strenghten the walls of a mountain that would otherwise fall over the robot city, and also allowing the robots to walk over the mountain without destroying it.

- Add multiplayer (both online and couch co-op), which would eliminate the need for Talos 1 holograms and Talos 2 body doubles. In singleplayer mode, the player should be able to switch to the other characters like in other games such as The Lost Vikings.

- Make the characters wears some clothing or customized body parts to give them individualized silhouettes. Differentiating their appearance solely by their paintjob in Talos 2 wasn't enough to make them feel unique. They should be proud of having robotic bodies that they can customize for specific purposes.

- Bring back the Milton Library Assistant using an actual LLM AI tailor-made for the game's universe, to make it even more surprising. The LLM should run under a set of rules that keeps its reasoning confined to the intended progression of the game, but being able to express its dialogue in multiple dynamic ways to match the user's input. What this means is, the players would be allowed to type anything in the terminal instead of selecting premade sentences!

- Try to implement some sort of crossplatform savegame support, maybe implementing a Croteam® Account that players can log into to, for example, play the game on the go in their Switch 2 and continue playing it later at home in their PC.

- Include user-made content support like in Reawakened, but try to do it in a crossplatform way so the console users can also have an expanded experience.

- Keep promoting user-made content with the Community Highlights, because it entices players who usually ignores user-made content to play it and enjoy the game even more. Croteam is doing a great job with that, and it's such a genius move that in my opinion, it's giving The Talos Principle Reawakened the BEST treatment that any game can have post launch.

There is a reason people like the first game more, still play it, still speedruns it and find new strats. Not that much happens with #2.

I have no particularly strong feelings about layout and puzzle mechanics. My guess is whatever they do there will be great and fitting.

What I would like to see is regarding the story. It should be set out in space, probably thousands of years in the future from where 2 left off. They've figured out to manipulate the threads of consciousness interwoven in the fabric of spacetime to not only bring robots back from the dead... but humans. And, of course, who should return but Alexandra Drennan herself.

And we would see the moral cundundrums related to resurrection. What do they do about bringing back serial killers and other dangerous immoral people? Do they bring them back at all? Do they confine them somewhere and perhaps attempt to reform them? Is there anyone who eventually tires of existence? Should they be allowed to off themselves?

And of course, just to make matters more complicated... aliens. There were already hints of this with the anomaly. An anomaly from before the big bang itself. Perhaps the story goes full gnostic and there is a demiurge like Elohim in charge of running the whole universe as we know it.

So many exciting possibilities!
