Change Google Assistant settings

Use Google Assistant settings to change the language in Google Assistant, set up Voice Match, and manage other preferences.

Tips:

• You can use Google Assistant with multiple accounts.
• If you’re a first-time user without a default language, Assistant will communicate with you based on your device’s default language. If Assistant doesn’t support this language, long-pressing the power button to access Assistant may open Chrome instead.

Open Google Assistant settings

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Home app 👁 Google Home

2. Next to your email address, tap Down 👁 Down arrow
   .
   • On Pixel 4 and up, tap See all Assistant settings 👁 Assistant
     .
3. Choose an action:
   • To use a different account: Tap the account you want to use.
   • To add a new account: Tap Add another account.
   • To remove an account from your device: Learn how to remove a Google Account.
