Share or link to quotes & text in Chrome

You can create a shareable link that goes directly to specific highlighted text on a page.

To create a link that opens directly to highlighted text:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Chrome 👁 Chrome
   .
2. Go to the page with text you want to share.
3. To highlight the text you want to share, touch and hold, then drag your finger.
4. Tap Share.
   • Tip: To share just a highlight without a link, tap Link 👁 Image
     .
5. Select the app you want to paste the link and text into.

Tip: You can re-share highlighted text or remove a highlight from text.

• To re-share highlighted text, tap Share highlight.
• To remove a highlight from text and restore the URL to its original state, tap Remove highlight.
