Manage payment info in Chrome
You can manage your payment info in Chrome. This includes how you add nicknames to your payment method and control autofill for both payment and contact details. You can manage security codes with options to turn off, save, edit, and delete.
Add, edit, or delete payment & address info you saved in Chrome
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome π Chrome
. - Tap More π More

. - Tap Addresses and more or Payment methods.
- Edit or delete info:
- Add:
- At the bottom, tap Add address or Add card.
- When you've entered your info, at the bottom, tap Done.
- Edit:
- Tap the entry.
- At the top right, tap Edit.
- When you've changed your info, at the top right, tap Done.
- Delete:
- At the bottom right, tap Edit.
- Select the entry.
- Tap Delete π and then
Delete Address π and then
Done.
- Add:
If you add, edit, or delete an address and youβre signed in to Chrome with your Google Account, your changes show up on your other devices where youβre signed in to Chrome with the same account.
If your payment method is saved in Google Pay, you'll need to edit or delete it in Google Pay.
Save address with more info
Important: You can use saved addresses across Google Products. This wonβt change your existing home address. Itβll be saved in your Google Account.
When you fill out the form with your updated payment info, you may be prompted to save it in your Google Account.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome π Chrome
. - Go to a website where you need payment info to fill out.
- Enter the required address info.
- If prompted, at the top, in the βSave address,β tap Save.
- If you have any changes before you save, to update the name and email address, tap Save address π and then

Manage card security codes in Chrome
When you use autofill to pay on a website, Chrome can prompt you to save your security code. If you save it, Chrome will automatically fill it in when you make future purchases.
- Turn off saving of security codes:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome π Chrome

Payment methods. - Turn Save security codes on or off.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome π Chrome
- Delete saved security codes:
- In the Payment methods menu, tap Save security codes.
- Tap Delete saved security codes.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Tip: If you delete a security code for a card, it will be removed from all devices where youβre signed in to Chrome with the same Google Account.
Nickname your payment method in Chrome
Important: These steps won't work if you saved the payment method in Google Pay. If you previously saved your payment methods with Google Pay, you're redirected to the Google Pay site to update your info there.

Payment methods. - Choose the method youβd like to change.
- Select Edit.
- Change your payment method details and nickname.
- Tap Done.
Tips:
- If you rename a payment method, it shows when you select a form that uses a saved payment method.
- Payment method nicknames in Chrome don't transfer to Google Pay. If you save your payment info in Google Pay, you must update it separately.
Stop saving info in Chrome
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome π Chrome

Payment methods or Addresses and more.- To stop saving payment info: Turn off Save and fill payment methods.
- To stop saving security codes only, turn off Save security codes within the Payment methods menu.
- To stop saving addresses and contact info: Turn off Save and fill addresses.
- To stop saving payment info: Turn off Save and fill payment methods.
Manage "Always verify when using autofill" setting
Important: This is a device-level setting. You must turn it on for each device where you want this setting on.
To secure your payment info from others when you share your device, you can turn on verification when you use autofill. This increases your security and protects you against fraudulent activities.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome π Chrome
. - Tap More π More

Payment methods. - Turn Verify that it's you to autofill payment methods on or off.
Tip: When this setting is on, Chrome will autofill the stored security code (CVC) automatically only after a successful biometric check such as Face ID, Touch ID, or Passcode.
- Your device has a screen lock. To use this setting, make sure you set up a screen lock.
- βSave and fill payment methodsβ is on.
Tip: When the setting is off, Chrome occasionally verifies your payment method for security purposes.
