Print a file

Print a document, spreadsheet, or presentation

You can print from the Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 1: Download the app you want to use

Step 2: Use your computer to set up printing

Step 3: Print from your phone

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides app.
  2. On the file you want to print, tap More πŸ‘ Image
    .
  3. Tap Share & export πŸ‘ and then
    Print πŸ‘ Print
    .
  4. To select the printer, follow the instructions.
  5. Tap Print πŸ‘ Print
    .

Change the page setup of a document

First, download the Google Docs app for iPhone or iPad.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Docs app.
  2. Open a document.
  3. In the top right, tap More πŸ‘ Image
    .
  4. Tap Page setup.
  5. Select the setting you want to change:
    • Orientation
    • Paper size
    • Page color
  6. Make your changes.

You can edit your file while in print layout mode to see how it will look when it’s printed.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open a file in the Google Docs app.
  2. Tap More πŸ‘ Image

  3. Turn Print layout on.
  4. Tap Edit πŸ‘ Edit
