You can present Google Slides so they show on a full screen.

Full-screen presentations work from a computer, mobile device, or TV with Chromecast or AirPlay. You can even accept audience questions while you presentπŸ‘ Image

View a presentation

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open a presentation in the Google Slidesapp.
  2. At the top, tap Present πŸ‘ Play
    πŸ‘ and then
    Present on this device.
  3. To change slides, swipe left or right.
  4. To exit, double-tap the screen. Tap Close πŸ‘ Close
    .

Present with Chromecast, Meet, or AirPlay

You can present slides on your television with Google Chromecast, in a video call with Google Meet, or AirPlay.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast.
  2. Open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
  3. Tap Cast πŸ‘ Cast
    .
  4. To change slides, swipe right or left.
    • Control the volume with your device’s volume buttons.
    • To show or hide your speaker notes, tap Speaker notes πŸ‘ Image
      .
  5. To stop casting, tap Close πŸ‘ Close
    .

Tip: Presenting Google Slides doesn't work in Chromecast guest mode. If you can't find your Chromecast, check that local network access is enabled.

To enable local network access on your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Go to the Settings app.
  2. Find the Slides app.
  3. Turn on Local Network.

If you still can't find your Chromecast, try these additional troubleshooting steps.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
  2. Tap Present πŸ‘ Play
    . Choose where you want to present.
  3. Tap Present.
  4. To exit, at the top, tap Close πŸ‘ Close
    .
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
  2. If there’s an Apple TV or AirPlay receiver near you, swipe up from the bottom of your screen.
    1. Tap AirPlay mirroring.
    2. Tap the receiver you want to use.
    3. Next to "Mirroring," tap the switch.
  3. Tap Present πŸ‘ Play
    .
    • To change slides, swipe right or left.
    • Control the volume with your device’s volume buttons.
    • To show or hide your speaker notes, tap Speaker notes πŸ‘ Image

  4. To exit, at the top, tap Close πŸ‘ Close
    .

Highlight important points as you present

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
  2. At the top, tap Present πŸ‘ Play
    . Choose where you want to present.
  3. At the top, tap Draw πŸ‘ Edit
    .
  4. Use your finger to draw on the presented slide.
    • To remove drawings, at the bottom, tap Clear drawing or change slides.
    • To change slides, swipe left or right in the speaker notes section.
  5. To exit drawing mode, tap Draw πŸ‘ Edit
    .
