Block spam calls

You can block calls from suspected spam numbers on Google Fi.

To manage this setting on the web, go to Spam and contact settings.

Important: To make sure Google Fi doesn’t block your contacts, sync Google Contacts with your iPhone.

Block any known spam callers through the Google Fi app. These callers can’t connect to your phone and can’t leave voicemail.

  1. Open the Google Fi app 👁 Fi
    .
  2. Tap Privacy & security.
  3. Under “Spam and contact settings,” tap Manage contact settings.
  4. Turn on Block known spam.

Tip: Make sure you're using the latest version of the Google Fi iOS app.

How to filter spam calls on your iPhone & iPad device

Important: Suspected spam calls don't ring and you don't see the missed spam call notifications in the “Recents” tab. You can see the spam call in your call history on fi.google.com.

To better manage incoming calls, you can turn on the “Silence Unknown Callers” feature.

  1. On your device, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps 👁 and then
    Phone 👁 and then
    Silence Unknown Callers.
  3. Turn on Silence Unknown Callers.

Tip: This feature silences calls from unknown numbers, sends them to voicemail, and displays them on the “Recents” list.

If you think Google Fi blocked a call in error, contact support for more info.
