How do I choose which alerts Fitbit sends me?
Choose to receive certain Fitbit notifications on your phone. Notifications include low battery warnings, step goal milestones, friend requests, messages from friends, and more.
Important:
- Starting April 30, 2025, we're reducing the email that we send you. You won’t receive email notifications for:
- Low battery warnings
- New badges
- Friend requests
- Messages
- Family activities
- We’ll continue to send push notifications for these activities, and you can review them in your in-app messages. To make sure that you receive them, enable your push notifications for Fitbit.
- Go to the Fitbit settings page.
- Click Notifications under the Settings menu.
- Review and adjust your Email notifications settings.
- Click Save.
- Visit the Community settings page.
- Adjust your settings to choose the notifications you want to receive.
- Click Save.
