Find & manage your Gemini Spark tasks
You can find tasks you’ve assigned to Gemini Spark on the Tasks page in Gemini Apps. On the Tasks page, you can:
- Check the progress of all your tasks in a high level view
- Pin, rename, and delete task threads so the important ones are easy to find
- Filter task threads to quickly find tasks, especially ones that need your attention
What you need
To use Gemini Spark, you must:
- Be 18 or over.
- Sign in to the Gemini app with a personal Google Account with a Google AI Ultra subscription. Learn how to upgrade.
- Have Keep Activity on.
Important: For now, Gemini Spark is:
- Available wherever Gemini Apps are supported, except in Australia, Canada, the European Economic Area, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Nigeria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
- Only available in English.
- Only available in the Gemini mobile app and the Gemini web app at gemini.google.com.
Find your recent task threads & their progress
- On your phone or tablet, open the Gemini mobile app 👁 Image
or go to gemini.google.com. - At the top, tap Menu 👁 Menu

. - Check under “Recent” for your recent task threads.
- Threads that have unread Gemini responses are in bold.
- Check under a thread’s name for the latest progress on tasks.
- Tap a thread to open it.
- To review the steps Gemini completed, at the top of the thread, tap the current progress chip.
Filter or search for your tasks
- Filter your threads by status: tap Recent 👁 Image

Pin, unpin, or rename a task thread
- Pin a thread: tap More 👁 Image

Delete a task thread
- On your phone or tablet, open the Gemini mobile app 👁 Image

. - Touch and hold the thread you want to delete
- Tap Delete 👁 Image

What happens when a task thread is deleted
Important: To manage Gemini Apps Activity, you need to sign in to Gemini Apps. Learn how to sign in to Gemini Apps.
If you delete a task thread, it also deletes the following:
- The task
- Related activity from your Gemini Apps Activity
- Schedules associated with that task
It does not delete:
- Any files that were created or modified like files in Google Workspace
- Any remote browser data or remote code execution data associated with the task
- You can delete these in the Gemini Spark settings menu
Tip: If task data in Gemini Apps Activity is deleted, then that task’s activity is deleted from the Tasks page and any associated schedules will also be deleted from the Schedules page.
