Manage your contacts in Gemini Apps
You can ask Gemini to manage details about your contacts when you connect Contacts to Gemini Apps. Just ask Gemini to find, add, edit, or delete your contacts.
Contacts includes Google Contacts and contact info from your signed-in devices.

What you need
To find and manage your contacts, you must:
- Be 18 or over and in the US.
- Be eligible with Personal Intelligence. Learn more about eligibility.
- Sign in to Gemini Apps with a personal Google Account.
- Have Keep Activity on.
Important: For now, the Contacts connected app is:
- Only available in Gemini Spark
- Only available in the Gemini mobile app and the Gemini web app at gemini.google.com.
- Only available in English
Connect Contacts to Gemini Apps
- Ask the Gemini app to find contact details for you.
- If you haven’t connected Contacts, you’ll get the option to connect it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Find & manage your contacts
You can ask Gemini Apps to find, add, edit, and delete contacts or specific contact details, like the name, email addresses, phone numbers, birthday, addresses, and more.
Ask for contact details
You can ask Gemini Apps to quickly retrieve contact details by name, number, or email address. For example:
- What's Dana A's email address?
- Show me Ira's phone number.
- @Contacts who’s phone number is 800‑555‑0150?
- Check my contacts for Akira’s birthday.
Add a contact
You can ask Gemini Apps to create new contacts. For example:
- Add Luka C to my contacts with the phone number 800‑555‑0150.
- Save Mahan's new address as 1800 Amphibious Blvd., Mountain View, CA 94045.
Update a contact
You can ask Gemini Apps to edit contact details. For example:
- Update Alex M's email address to alexm@altostrat.com.
- Update Izumi H's phone number to 800‑555‑0123.
Delete a contact
You can ask Gemini Apps to remove an entry from your contacts. For example:
- Delete Charlie Z from my contacts.
- Remove Taylor's contact information.
