Redeem your Google Play gift card or gift code

You can get physical Google Play gift cards and digital gift cards (also referred to as gift codes) by email, SMS, or other methods of delivery. You can also receive a digital Google Play gift card as a gift in the United Kingdom, Mexico, and the United States. Find where to buy gift cards.

Google Play gift card redemption codes are typically a 16-digit combination of numbers and letters. Some digital gift codes sent to you by email, SMS, or other methods may have a different number of digits, but will be a combination of numbers and letters.

👁 Gift code example

1. On your Android device, open the Google Play app 👁 Google Play
   .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture.
3. Tap Payments & subscriptions 👁 and then
   Redeem code.
4. Enter the code.
5. Tap Redeem.
6. Review the account that'll receive the balance you redeem.
7. Tap Confirm.

Redeem when you make a purchase on Google Play

1. Go through the checkout process until you find the payment method listed.
2. Next to the payment method, select the down arrow 👁 Down arrow
   👁 and then
   Redeem code.
3. Enter your code.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
