About price tracking on Google

You can track the price of a product using the Track Price feature. This feature is available when signed in to your Google Account on the web or in the Google app.

Track a productโ€™s price

Important:

  • Price tracking is available in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, and India. Weโ€™re rolling out updates to price tracking. All features may not be available on all devices or Google surfaces.
  • Make sure you're signed in and have notifications turned on.

On Google on your device:

  1. Search for specific keywords, such as:
    • Product: Google Pixel Pro
    • Product category: Cellphones
  2. Scroll to view or open a product card.
  3. Tap Track price ๐Ÿ‘ Image
    .
    • A Track price card opens. If the product has options like size or color, you may select the options you want to track.
    • Optionally, select a target price.
  4. To confirm price tracking, tap OK.
    • You'll get a confirmation that says "Youโ€™ll get push notifications and emails on price drops and related content."

Tips:

  • When the price drops below your target price, you'll get a push notification to your phone through the Google app and also receive an email.
  • Prices are dynamic and subject to change.

Know about price tracking & agentic checkout

In certain situations, you may find a "Buy for me with GPay" button for products you track like this: ๐Ÿ‘ Buy for me with GPay
.

When you do, you can use our agentic checkout feature to have the item bought on your behalf. When the desired price point is reached, youโ€™ll get a notification and email to confirm the purchase, payment method, and shipping address. Behind the scenes, our agentic checkout feature will then make the purchase from the merchant's website on your behalf with Google Pay. Learn more about agentic checkout.

Tip: Before any transaction proceeds, you'll get a notification to review and approve all details.
