Archive notes & lists

Once you're done with a note in Keep, you can store or delete it.

Archive a note

Tip: To archive multiple notes at once, touch and hold them on the Keep home screen and tap Archive 👁 Archive

On your iPhone or iPad, open Keep 👁 Keep

Tap the note you want to delete.
In the bottom right, tap Action 👁 Action menu
👁 and then
Delete 👁 Delete
. Deleted notes are also deleted for anyone you've shared them with.

Tip: To delete multiple notes at once, touch and hold each note on the Keep home screen, then tap More 👁 More
👁 and then
Delete 👁 Delete
.

After deleting a note, you have seven days to recover it.

On your iPhone or iPad, open Keep 👁 Keep

In the top-left corner, tap Menu 👁 Menu
👁 and then
Trash 👁 Trash
.
Tap a note to open it.
To move a note out of the trash, open it and tap Action 👁 Action menu
👁 and then
Restore.

You can also empty the trash at any time. This permanently deletes any notes in the trash.
