Use Annotations in Google Meet
On Android, you can use Annotations if you present your screen and select Entire screen. If youβre presenting using an Android device, you can't appoint co-annotators.

Important: You can use Annotations in Google Meet on Android if you have these Google Workspace editions:

- Business Standard
- Business Plus

How to use Annotations in Google Meet
In a meeting:
- On your Android device, open the Meet app π Image
. - Join a meeting.
- To present your screen:
- Tap Share screen π Share screen
π and then
Entire screen. - Tap More options π Image
π and then
Share screen π Share screen
π and then
Entire screen.- This feature will soon be available through single app sharing.
- Tap Share screen π Share screen
- As the presenter, you get the notification βYou can annotate on the screen now. Everyone can see your annotations.β
- To select an annotation option, tap Annotate π Draw emoji
.- Select one of the following:
- Pen
- Eraser
- Trash
- Select one of the following:
- To close and clear all existing annotations, select Exit annotations.
Check what you need to annotate a presentation
To annotate a presentation, make sure you:
- Use Android 11 and up
- Update to the latest version of Google Meet
