Silence or unblock notifications on your watch

You can get notifications for texts, missed calls, events, and reminders. Your watch will match your phone’s settings for whether it vibrates or stays silent for notifications.

Your watch will have the same Do not disturb settings as your phone. You can also turn on the "Alarms only" DND setting from your watch.

Turn on "Alarms only" from your watch

  1. If you can't see your screen, wake up the watch.
  2. From the top of your watch screen, swipe down.
  3. Tap Do not disturb 👁 Do not disturb
    .

If you don’t see these options on your watch

To stop seeing notifications on your watch, you can mute your watch. When your watch is muted, it won’t vibrate for new notifications.

Note: If you silenced your phone but not your watch, your watch will still vibrate. It uses the same settings as your individual apps, not your phone.

If your phone is set to Do Not Disturb mode, your watch won't vibrate.

To stop notifications from certain apps, block them with your watch or through the Wear OS app.
