Get travel search results from Gmail
On Google, you can search for information from Gmail, like upcoming flights or hotel reservations.
- Go to google.com.
- You won't get these results if the URL says "http" instead of "https."
- At the top right, click Sign in.
- If your Google Account profile photo or initial is there, you're already signed in.
- Try one of the example searches below.

Privacy of your search results
Results from your Google products are private. No one else will get your information in their results unless you've explicitly shared it with them or it's available publicly.
You're the only person who will get results that come from your Gmail.
Turn results from Gmail on or off
You're in control of whether you get search results from Gmail.
Tip: You need to search on https://www.google.com and sign in to a Google Account to follow these steps.
In the Google app
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google app 👁 Google app
.- Make sure you're signed in to your Google Account.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial 👁 and then
Settings 👁 and then
Personal results. - Turn Show personal results on or off.
In a browser
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to Personalized Recommendations.
- If asked, sign in to your Google Account.
- Turn Personalized Recommendations on or off.
If you turn off personal results, it stays paused as long as you're signed in to your Google Account. You might still get results based on your settings. Learn how Search works with your activity.

Get results from another Google Account
Important: You need to be signed in to a Google Account to follow these steps.
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to google.com or open the Google App 👁 Google app
. - At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial 👁 and then
Add another account. - Sign in or tap the account you want to add.
Turn on Google Workspace Smart Features to personalize your Search response
To get more personalized Search responses, turn on Smart Features in other Google products in your Gmail account.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app 👁 Image
. - At the top left, tap Menu 👁 menu icon
👁 and then
Settings. - Under "General," tap Data privacy 👁 and then
Google Workspace smart features. - Turn a smart feature setting on or off:
- Smart features in Google Workspace.
- Smart features in other Google products.
- At the top right, tap Done.
