If you have a phone with an ARMv6 processor, you have probably installed an experimental nightly build called Fennec. It is a known issue that is not going to be fixed.

If you have a phone with an ARMv7 processor and have installed Firefox 4.0 Beta 4 for Android mobile, check the known issues for Android.
