Firefox will suddenly open a new tab that says, "If you're seeing this page when you don't want to, upgrade Firefox to the latest version," at random times when I'm browsing. The message is really annoying. Why would Mozilla do that?

Version 1.02 of my extension was in "disabled by Mozilla" state on the developer hub. That's the only version that still supports Firefox 4. That version has a colored shadow feature that was removed later on. So I want users to be able to download the version with the colored shadow if they want. But AMO doesn't let me resubmit older rejected versions. How can I resubmit an older rejected version of my add-on so people can use it?

I'm making a Firefox add-on and zipped it to an XPI file. I drag the file to Firefox and I click install. But it didn't work so I open the developer console. It shows an error:
WARN | Invalid XPI File WARN | Failed to download addon file:///Workspaces/-----/addon/quicklinkbar.xpi
Usually it's supposed to say WHY IT WAS INVALID. Is is because it's completely invalid it has no reason to say, or is it just some rare case?
I'm a beginner so maybe it was just a simple mistake.

I went to the options window and on the update tab the check for updates section was grayed out.
I want to select "never check for updates" but I can't.

When I started Firefox after the update a message came up that said "This program was blocked by your system: C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/firefox.exe" that probably was the directory of the new version.

Why can't you remove a plugin just like any other add-on?
Extentions and themes have a remove button to delete it. Why isn't that the same for plugins?

I went to options, and selected the NEVER CHECK FOR UPDATES check box, but Firefox still automatically updates.
I know this because it says Firefox just updated on startup.

In the Personas Gallery, I can't wear a Persona. (The wear button isn't there.) It also asks me to install The Personas add-on.
The wear button is not in the personas gallery.

I upgraded firefox to version 3.0 and I launched it. Then I closed it. The 2nd time I launched it, it crashed I submitted the report but it keeps crashing without even opening.
I upgraded to Firefox 3.0 yesterday and it crashes repeatedly without even opening. I saved the file in "C:\Users\Mommy\Appdata\Local\Mozilla Firefox\.
