Sign in to your Mozilla account on Firefox for Android to sync your bookmarks, credit cards, history, logins and open tabs across your devices.

Sign in to your Mozilla account

Option 1: Pair your mobile browser with Firefox desktop

To sync your bookmarks, payment methods, history, passwords and open tabs with Firefox Sync using a Mozilla account and QR code:

On your Firefox desktop:

1. Go to firefox.com/pair. You may need to sign in to your Mozilla account, if you haven't yet.
   • If you do not have an existing Mozilla account, just enter your email address and click Sign up or sign in to create one. For additional information, see Access Mozilla services with a Mozilla account.
2. Choose the option I already have Firefox for mobile by clicking on it and select the Continue button. Firefox will open the Sync Firefox on your phone or tablet dialog in your about:preferences window.

On your Firefox for Android app:

1. Tap the menu button 👁 android menu icon
   
   👁 Menu button - Template:menupreview
   
2. Tap Sign in.
3. Tap Ready to scan.
4. Point your device's camera toward the QR code on your desktop.

Option 2: Log in with credentials

To sync your bookmarks, payment methods, history, passwords and open tabs with Firefox Sync by simply signing in to your Mozilla account:

1. Tap the menu button 👁 android menu icon
   
   👁 Menu button - Template:menupreview
   
2. Tap Sign in.
3. Tap Use email instead.
4. Enter your Mozilla account credentials when prompted.
   • If you do not have an existing Mozilla account, enter your email address when prompted and tap Sign up or sign in to create one. For additional information, see Access Mozilla services with a Mozilla account.

Choose what to sync

1. Tap the menu button 👁 android menu icon
   
   👁 Menu button - Template:menupreview
   
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap your email address.
4. Put a check mark next to the types of information you want to sync.

Connect to a self-hosted Mozilla account server

To customize your Mozilla account server settings:

1. Open the Firefox for Android menu.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap About Firefox.
4. Tap the Firefox icon 5 times.
5. Go back.
6. Tap Sync Debug.
7. Tap Custom Mozilla account server and enter your content server URL (for example: https://www.fxa.example.local).
8. Tap Custom Sync server and enter your sync server URL (for example: https://token.fxa.example.local/token/1.0/sync/1.5).
9. Tap ✕ Stop Firefox that appeared in the menu. The server changes will take effect when you run Firefox again.
