The Belarusian company AirCloud is developing a platform for a hyperconverged cloud with an emphasis on organizing cloud workplaces. The project was founded in 2019 by Vladislav Gadalov, who previously won the international scientific and engineering competition Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.

The product developed by the startup includes a number of solutions for virtual systems, including a proprietary data transfer protocol between the server and the workstation, as well as a specialized compact thin client with remote access and management. According to the company's own data, AirCloud is a better product than its counterparts in the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure segment and solves the problem of updating the computer fleet for companies with more than 500 jobs, as well as the task of organizing workplaces for remote employees. Speed and security for customers is provided through its own protocol with reduced data link requirements, as well as disk space encryption and virtual machine RAM, AirCloud said

The use of virtual desktops in business helps to optimize employee data transfer while working remotely, provide access to contractors and partners, and support graphics-intensive applications. The protocol preserves a secure space for storing corporate data, according to AirCloud.

2023: Kirov Group Ventures Gets 5% AirCloud in Funding Round

On January 11, 2023, it became known about the investment of Kirov Group Ventures in AirCloud. Under the terms of the deal, the venture fund of the Kirov plant received 5% in a startup. Other details of the agreement were not disclosed.

The press service of Kirov Group Ventures only clarified that the deal was held on the assessment of the seed stage of the project. Earlier, AirCloud raised funds only from "angels," Kirov Group Ventures became the first structured investor.
