History

2022: MegaFon and ex-head of USM holding Streshinsky bought Algorithm

In mid-December 2022, MegaFon and the former head of the USM holding (owns MegaFon) Ivan Streshinsky entered into transactions to acquire 50% of Algorithm. The financial terms of the agreements are not disclosed.

As explained To Interfax by "" in MegaFon, the purchase of a stake in Algorithm is one of the transactions as part of the restructuring of the operator's assets.

According to the SPARK-Interfax system, shares in Algorithm LLC were acquired from Jasur Dzhumaev, who in turn on December 16, 2022 became the owner of 100% of Round Bank instead of Irina Lupicheva. Until mid-March 2022, the beneficial owners of the bank were USM Holdings shareholders Alisher Usmanov and Vladimir Skoch: Round belonged to ASK Renaissance LLC, 49% and 30% in which Usmanov and Skoch owned through Round East Holdings Ltd. and USM Investments Ltd. owned.

Dzhumaev in June became the owner of another former USM structure - Telecominvest LLC. Until mid-March, it belonged to HC YUSM LLC and was transferred to Dzhumaev (35%), Lupicheva (35%) and the ex-head of VKontakte Boris Dobrodeev (30%). In June, Dzhumaev received all 100% of the LLC, according to SPARK-Interfax^[1]
