Brighton Falls is a small coastal town in California, located close to San Francisco. Notable locations include McKinnon Air Base, Hank's Marine Repair and Parts, and Brighton Falls Boardwalk, a seaside amusement park near the dock.

Bumblebee film

After being badly damaged by Blitzwing, Bumblebee somehow ended up in Brighton Falls. Charlie Watson found and repaired him however after he triggered a power surge, Sector Seven forces cooperating with the Decepticons Shatter and Dropkick were drawn to the town. Learning that the Autobots intended to use Earth as a safe haven, the two Decepticons attempted to modify the new communications tower at the dock to call in the Decepticon army, but were successfully stopped by Charlie and Bumblebee. Notes

• Bumblebee entered production under the codename "Brighton Falls."
• Even though Simmons identifies Brighton Falls as a "coastal town", both the Richmond–San Rafael Bridge and East Marin Island can be seen in the background in establishing shots of the Watsons' house, which would place Brighton Falls within the San Francisco Bay, not quite on the coast. Further complications arise with the Brighton Falls Boardwalk, which faces the ocean.
• The packaging backdrop for Studio Series Shatter (jet version) erroneously places Brighton Falls in the San Diego area. Oops.
