- Chuffer is never called by name in the story, instead receiving his name from a question answered by Grimlock on his letters page.[1] About 30 issues later, Dreadwind answered a similar question, calling the unfortunate robot "cannon fodder" before giving him the name Steamer.[2] Later still, a human letter writer called out this discrepancy, adding "and [Grimlock] should know – he's an Autobot!" Dreadwind responded that the name didn't matter, as he was "just another Autobot casualty."[3]
