Deep Blue is the science officer of the Cybertronian exploration vessel Hyperborea.
Deep Blue and the Hyperborea were in pursuit of the Terrastar when their exploration ship came under attack by the Skriix. The Maladroids of the Terrastar aided Deep Blue and her comrades in the space battle, but they were still damaged and forced to land on the planet Energoa below. The Inexorable March
