Hill Valley (A Nice Place To Live) is a small town in California.
In the year 1985, not long after the Autobots and Decepticons had reactivated, Megatron sent Rumble and Ravage to scout the area for anything that could be used to grant them an edge over the Autobots. When camped out at the Twin Pines Mall, the two discovered that the human Doc Brown had invented time travel, his young friend Marty McFly using a retrofitted DeLorean to escape Libyan terrorists before returning to right when he'd left. Following the two to the Lyon Estates neighborhood, the Decepticons tried to steal the time machine only to intercepted by Bumblebee. While Doc Brown travelled to the year 2015, Marty went right to bed. Transformers/Back to the Future #1 While Ravage was killed, Rumble had managed to climb aboard the DeLorean and followed Doc Brown to the technologically advanced Hill Valley of 2015 before summoning Megatron. Finding his master to be on the verge of total shutdown, Rumble stole the DeLorean and returned to Hill Valley in 1974 to ensure that the Decepticons won the war. Awakened alone, the Decepticons destroyed the stasis locked Autobots and conquered Earth. Rumble's minion Biff Tannen was made the coordinator of the Hill Valley. Transformers/Back to the Future #2
When Marty awoke, he found that Hill Valley had been turned into a labour camp by the Decepticons, its populace enslaved and forced to make energon cubes. On that same day, Starscream had been sent to see why the town had fallen behind on its quota of cubes with Marty trying to lead a rebellion against the Seeker. When that didn't work out, Starscream prepared to execute the youth only for the Autobot Gigawatt to arrive and save Marty's life. Transformers/Back to the Future #1 Along with the Autobot Skilz, they travelled to 2015 to meet up with Rodimus Prime's Autobot resistance in Hill Valley's Delgado Mine. Deprived of his time machine, Doc Brown began waging war on the Decepticons in 2015, meeting up with Marty and the Autobots. After they had defeated Starscream and the Constructicons, Watchtower assumed his robot mode. Transformers/Back to the Future #3
Despite Watchtower's best efforts, Gigawatt and Marty McFly managed to time travel back to 1984, undoing the Decepticons' conquest of Earth by activating the Autobots before Rumble arrived. When Marty returned to 2015, he reunited with the Autobots before being returned to Hill Valley in 1985, discovering that his adventure in 1955 had resulted in a better home life for the McFly family.
