- Kurama & Gamakichi (Multi-pack, 2025)
-
- Collaborative Kurama is an extensive retooling of Kingdom Cheetor, transforming from nine-tailed fox into a ninja robot based on Naruto Uzumaki, both from the manga series Naruto. His right hand features a hinged knuckle, allowing it to open so effect parts can be plugged into it. The left hand has a hinged wrist and is molded in a chakra channeling position.
- Kurama comes with two different kunai: a single-bladed kunai branded with the Konohagakure symbol, and a three-bladed kunai based on the Flying Thunder God Kunai used by Naruto's father Minato, both of which can peg onto his hips for storage. He also has blast effects modeled after Naruto's Rasengan and Rasenshuriken techniques, which plug into a port in the palm of Kurama's right hand. Completing the effect are two more effect pieces that sit underneath Kurama's feet, meant to give off the impression of an anime-esque "chakra aura". The instructions also suggest installing the Rasengan and Rasenshuriken effect parts into the shoulder-mounted forepaws of his beast mode legs, allowing Kurama to wield all six of his accessories at once.
- Kurama was only available in a two-pack with fellow Naruto character Gamakichi (though said two-pack is specifically branded as a Naruto Shippuden product). This set was revealed by Hasbro on October 10, 2024, Naruto's in-fiction birthday, and went up for pre-order the same day. The instruction sheet places the symbol of the Hidden Leaf Village beside their name in place of a Transformers faction insignia.
Notes
- Given getting sealed in other beings is the tailed beasts' whole deal in Naruto fiction, it's a little ambiguous whether the unnamed Transformer scanned the Naruto character Kurama for a beast mode or if Kurama is possessing them directly.
- In the Naruto anime, Kurama is voiced by Tesshō Genda in Japanese.
