The Last Light is the Functionist Universe's counterpart to the Lost Light. It has three main differences from its counterpart: The second letter of the name, its quantum engines being slightly less powerful, and its purple colour scheme (it's a good colour).
The Unitrex-1 was constructed in the city of Unitrex five million years ago, the first ship outfitted with new experimental generator on board. (Since Rodimus and Cyclonus never traveled back in time in this universe, there was no Sparkeater in the basement and the engines were never upgraded.) Predestination: An Expert's Guide Its launch would be indefinitely delayed by the Functionist Council becoming the dominant power on Cybertron and isolating their homeworld. Megatron eventually found the U1, claiming it as the flagship of the Anti-Vocationist League and giving it a snazzy purple paintjob while renaming it the Last Light, in honor of its counterpart from his universe. With their ship, the AVL sailed through the Warren warning the galaxy of the threat the Functionists posed and allowing for countless billions to escape. In a confrontation with the Council, the Last Light was believed destroyed at Perseppalae. The Return of the King
When the Grand Architect's God Gun opened a portal to Megatron's native universe, the Last Light was caught in the rush, emerging ahead of the Functionist fleet. Farsickness Once they shook off the recon ships, Megatron ordered the Last Light to fire on the Architect's Worldsweeper so they could rescue his friends, though they were forced to leave a few behind when the Architect closed the hull breach. Once they were all settled, Megatron caught up his former crew on the history of the Functionist Universe before they began making plans to destroy the Council's avatar of Primus. Once Rodimus's group had managed to escape the Worldsweeper and reclaimed the Lost Light, the two Lights set down on a duplicate Cybertron to compare notes, with the AVL transferring over to the other ship. Left unattended, the Last Light was helpless when the Functionist ships began a bombing run before "Primus" began tearing into the last Cybertron, the Last Light violently exploding into a fiery wreck as the planet was ripped to shreds.
