Megaempress

Megaempress is a Decepticon from the Unite Warriors portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Created out of spare parts from Megatron's construction, Megaempress (メガエンプレス Megaenpuresu) is the self-proclaimed "Empress of Destruction" (破壊女帝 Hakai Jotei). She has a special team of vassals, the 4 Guards, to serve as her ever-present bodyguards. Make no mistake, she herself is a force to be reckoned with, as her power is comparable to Megatron's own and she wields her fusion rail cannon and Judge Pickel weapons to wreak destruction across the land. She has a special power which manifests as an ability to enslave any Transformer to her will and to absorb their energy too if they aren't useful as slaves.

Megaempress combines with her 4 Guards to form the mighty Megatronia.

Megaempress was mostly built from the spare parts for Megatron's creation in Cybertron's underground. Unite Warriors Megaempress bio Twin female soldiers, Moonheart and Lunaclub, were created to be her guards. Unite Warriors Moonheart bio Unite Warriors Lunaclub bio Mistrusting Megaempress, Shockwave had Flowspade infiltrate the 4 Guards, but the spy ended up being swayed by Megaempress's charisma and became truly loyal to her. Flowspade bio After Megaempress made her play to control Megatron and the Decepticons, Shockwave put her and Flowspade in stasis. She would be freed millennia later in 2021 when her remaining followers realized the devastation of Cybertron broke the seal and rushed Shockwave's facility to wake their empress. Megatronia Chapter

During the battle between Grand Galvatron and Sky Reign, Sky Reign Chapter Megaempress leapt into the fight with her retinue, breaking apart Sky Reign with her rail fusion cannon. Quickly spotting Galvatron as her husband reborn, Megaempress attempted to use her seductive special power on him again, but was stopped by the resurrected Optimus Prime. Declaring that the Autobot could be her "second husband", the female Decepticon tried to use her charm on him, but he was able to resist by shouting the name of his true love, Elita One. When Optimus combined with his troops to form Optimus Maximus, Megaempress did likewise with her 4 Guards, creating Megatronia, who proved more than a match for the Autobot combiner. The two combiners' duel was interrupted by the arrival of Unicron, and Megatronia separated. Megaempress approached a defeated Galvatron, Ruination Chapter, Part One who told her that he was in fact the ghost of a Galvatron from another dimension and that Unicron's actions were threatening to destroy all of space-time. He then tried to possess Megaempress, but was stopped in his tracks by Grand Scourge, giving Megaempress the opportunity to neutralize both of them by knocking them into a dimensional portal. Forming Megatronia again, she helped the other combiners defeat Unicron, then took a bubble bath while thinking of a new plan to conquer Cybertron. Ruination Chapter, Part Two

Unite Warriors Megaempress is a Megatron-themed redeco of Combiner Wars Pyra Magna, herself a retool of Combiner Wars Hot Spot. She transforms into a fire truck resembling a modified Rosenbauer Panther 6x6, with a working ladder-boom. Unlike many iterations of this mold, she has correctly-assembled knee struts.

As a Combiner Wars Voyager mold, she can also form the torso to a super-robot, compatible with any Deluxe-Class Combiner Wars-style limb-bots, though her nominal placement is with her teammates as Megatronia. Her "Judge Pickel" weapon combines with those of her teammates to form Megatronia's "Destopia" sword.

She was only available as part of the TakaraTomy Mall exclusive Megatronia box set, the fifth of six sets sold through the outlet, packed in with Flowspade, Lunaclub, Moonheart, and Trickdiamond.

Notes

• Megaempress is something of a counterpart to Elita One in the way the both of them were (re)created alongside their partner and in that they both have a special power.
• Megaempress's special power is not well-defined. When she first talks about it in "Megatronia Chapter", she says that Transformers can't resist her ability to turn them into her slaves, giving no other qualifiers, but later more specifically says that men can't resist her, which could just as well be a true limitation as just aggressive flirting. At least according to Galvatron in "Ruination Chapter, Part Two", Megaempress's power doesn't work on ghosts.
