Well, they are Protectobots, not Nonviolentprotestobots.

The Protectobots are a team of Super Mode drones for Stakeout. Before, Stakeout was called a "loose cannon" by many. Then, he received his Protectobots and they changed his outlook on things, showing him how important it was to protect and defend others.

The Protectobots include:

  • Fighter Jet Drone
  • APC Drone
  • Mobile Artillery Drone
  • Helicopter Drone

Power Core Combiners

  • Stakeout with Protectobots (Power Core Combiners 5-pack, 2010)
Part of the third wave of Power Core Combiners 5-pack figures, the Protectobots consist of two ground vehicles and two aircraft. Each one has a square socket for a Power Core Combiner connection; when attached via the blue plugs on a Commander figure, the vehicles automatically transform into a super-robot limb, and snap back to vehicle mode when disconnected. Despite the universal connector, each drone can only form one limb type (but can be swapped from left to right):
  • Fighter Jet Drone - Leg (Stakeout's left)
  • Helicopter Drone - Arm (Stakeout's left)
  • Mobile Artillery Drone - Arm (Stakeout's right)
  • APC Drone - Leg (Stakeout's right)
The Helicopter Drone and Fighter Jet Drone are redecoes of two Aerialbots, and the APC Drone and Mobile Artillery Drone are redecos of two Combaticons. (The other two Aerialbots and Combaticons were redecoed to create Crankcase's Destron drones.)

  • Power Core Combiners Value Pack (Value Pack, 2011)
Stakeout was also made available as part of a Walmart-exclusive Black Friday "Value Pack", combining a 5-pack team with a Commander 2-pack via packaging tape and a couple of stickers, for a grand total of ten dollars ($20 less than normal retail for such a pairing).
Stakeout has been found with the Heavytread/Groundspike, Huffer/Caliburst, Searchlight/Backwind and Skyhammer/Airlift 2-packs attached.
