Shana Story is a participant in Street Demon, a pirate television show which broadcasts illegal street-races in Detroit.

When Bumblebee joined one of the Street Demon races, Shana was present as one of the racers. When Bumblebee rushed off so that his passenger, Sari Sumdac, could escape Master Disaster, the confused racers assumed that the race had started and sped their cars through the trail. Their racing was cut short when Blitzwing, seeking the AllSpark fragment that Sari took from Master Disaster, blocked a tunnel with ice. Velocity
