Shin Matsuo

Shin Matsuo (松尾慎 Matsuo Shin) is a Japanese artist and animator, and was a member of Studio OX. He worked as an animator for the third season of the Generation 1 cartoon, and animated the Predaking combination sequence in "Call of the Primitives". Additionally, he provided story page illustrations which appeared in TV Magazine and Comic BomBom for the Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers and Transformers 2010 franchises.

Evidently, he favored the "on the ground, looking up" perspective to exaggerate the height and scale of the Transformers. Unfortunately, this also resulted in a lot of crotch-shots.
