Pratik Patel is a Java Champion and VP of Developer Relations at Azul Systems. He is an all around software and hardware enthusiast with experience in software engineering in the travel, healthcare, telecom, financial services, and startup sectors. He wrote the first book on enterprise Java in 1996, "Java Database Programming with JDBC," and “Developing Open Cloud Native Microservices” in 2019. He helps to organize the Atlanta Java User Group, is a frequent speaker at tech events, and a master builder of nachos.
