Ruins of the abandoned Dairy Crest milk processing factory, Totnes. Living next to this, when it was operational put me off normal milk for ever - there was never a cow near the place. Now I only drink organic.
It was closed down a couple of years ago (despite many protests by local workers and farmers) so the company could save money. It was one of the town's biggest employers and suddenly many families had no breadwinner.
