John Ottman (born July 6, 1964) is an American composer and editor. He composed music and edited three films of the X-Men Film Series, directed by Bryan Singer. He also used the Superman theme song for Superman Returns and got a Best Editing Academy Award for Bohemian Rhapsody. He also won a BAFTA Award for Best Editing for The Usual Suspects.

- Fanfare: The first five notes of his X-Men fanfare made for the films is used for the very end of the 20th Century Fox logo of both X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse.
