Orson was an American rock band from California, initially consisting of vocalist Jason Pebworth, guitarists George Astasio and Chad Rachild, bassist Johnny Lonely (aka John Bentjen) and drummer Johnny Fedevich..

They formed in 2000 and released their debut album Bright Idea in 2006, which did well especially in the UK. Their second album Culture Vultures was released the following year but failed to live up to the first album's expectations and they split up afterwards.
