Over my many years as a web developer, I have created and accumulated many different side projects and open-source software projects. The highlights of my work is listed below, but it is nowhere near a complete or exhaustive list of my works.

FINTECH_MCP

FINTECH_MCP is the first personal finance tool built exclusively for AI agents. You signup, connect your financial accounts, and then install the remote MCP in to your AI tool of choice, like Claude or ChatGPT. From there, you can ask questions about your finances, spending, get drill-downs by category, etc. It even comes with realistic-looking preview data so you can try it before you connect real accounts. Give it a spin and see how you like it!

BudgetSheet

BudgetSheet is a Google Sheets add-on that connects your bank accounts to Google Sheets. It automatically imports all your bank transactions and balances into any Google Sheet.

Hyperspan

Hyperspan is a web framework for high-performance sites and apps. It is designed to be fast and lightweight, with streaming server-rendered HTML and islands architecture for things like embedded Preact components that can be hydrated independently in otherwise static content to keep JavaScript bundle sizes very small.

I created Hyperspan out of frustration from the direction all the current frontend frameworks seem to be headed, with ever-increasing complexity and weight. There is a clear need for a “middle of the road” approach – something that feels more traditional, but with modern JavaScript and the modern web in mind.

Bulk Address Street View Image Finder

Bulk Address Google Street View Image Finder. A small project I created for some local clients who need Google Street View images of many addresses all at once. I manually run batches for them from time to time and decided to publish this just incase anyone else needs it too.

Frisby.js

Frisby.js – An API testing framework written in Node.js that uses Jest as the test runner. Frisby.js hits real APIs (test/dev/sandbox hopefully!), and verifies the results with assertions for status codes, JSON structures and types, and more. The NPM package Gets over 10k downloads/week.

Techlahoma

I co-founded the non-profit Techlahoma Foundation to help build and solidify the local tech community in the state of Oklahoma (where I currently live). I have served on the board in various positions since founding, including Treasurer and President.

In just a few short years, Techlahoma has grown to support 39 monthly technology groups across the state of Oklahoma along with 2 major annual conferences and a bunch of other community focused events like workshops, job fairs, and mixers.

ThunderPlains Developer Conference

I co-founded the ThunderPlains Developer Conference, which has run consecutively from 2013 to present. It is one of Techlahoma’s biggest fundraisers, and consistently sells around 250-300 tickets. ThunderPlains is also one of the region’s largest web/JS focused conferences.

phpdotenv

By far the most popular open source project I have ever made (see phpdotenv on Packagist). Included by default in Laravel and many other frameworks and development kits

Valitron

Popular and simple PHP validation library with no dependencies. GitHub project page. Has millions of downloads on Packagist.
