Things I'm not going to talk about right now:


-How Steph was supposed to be on Smallville as Nightwing but DC sucks and now she won't be
-DC's general fail
-How Tim apparently was never Robin now, never mind how that makes no sense, though it would at least help explain the lack of Steph and Cass in the new 52
-Ant-Man movie. Just. No. No. NO!
-The complete lack of even any real hints about a Black Widow movie
-Young Justice's five year time jump. I like a chunk of the new characters, but I'm still pissed about it
-Legend of Korra focusing on shipping at the expense of EXCELLENT PLOT

Things I'm delighted to talk about:

-How awesome Stephanie Brown is
-Robins and Batgirls!
-Young Avengers! KATE BISHOP IS SO GREAT!!!!!
-Anything you care to imagine about Clint mentoring teen girl archers (Kate, Mia Dearden, Lian Harper, Artemis Crock, Katniss, Merida, au Steph Brown, time-traveling teen girl Robin Hood, whatever else you can come up with)
-Shield's master assassins
-Time-traveling Peggy Carter
-Darcy, Jane Pepper and Maria Hill teaming up to save the day
-how awesome the season 2 LoK character designs look and how we're going to meet Bumi properly and finally meet Kya and how Korra has a lot of family who are probably all very awesome and general LoK specuations
-How great Asami Sato is
-BUCKY! WINTER SOLDIER MOVIE!
-hipster Spiderman and Gwen Stacy and how they should be bros with Darcy
-GOLD MOTEL'S NEW ALBUM OMG IT IS SO GREAT YOU NEED TO GO BUY IT RIGHT NOW
-JJAMZ'S album. I really love some of it? I need to listen to it a few more times though, I think a couple of the tracks are ones I'll need a bunch of listens to before I come around to really loving them

I'm so excited about more Bucky! I really love how they wrote him in the last film and I really like how Sebastian Stan and Chris Evans play off each other so I can't wait to see what they do in the new movie. I'm also hoping Natasha shows up a fair amount?
Totally! Sebastian Stan was pretty awesome as Bucky, and I can't wait to see his back story and stuff. SOO MUCH BUCKY LOVE. I finally picked up the first couple volumes of Winter Soldier stuff and I've been devouring it frantically. Such good stuff. I really hope they work Natasha in, especially since it looks like they're not giving her her own spin-off.
BUCKY OMG I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT MORE BUCKY AND HIS BEAUTIFUL ANGST AND STEVE'S ANGST AND THEIR ANGST ABOUT EACH OTHER! AND I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE MORE OF THEIR FRIENDSHIP OMG OMG OMG OMG

And MAYBE if we're really super lucky, this will jumpstart the Marvel Studios rpf fandom and there'll be Chris Evans/Sebastian Stan fic as well as all the new Steve/Bucky (omg yay) and Bucky/Natasha AND MAYBE WE'LL GET NATASHA/BUCKY/STEVE

I'm also really hoping Natasha shows up a fair amount in this movie. It makes sense to me that she would, since Steve's now safely in the future and they seem to be bros and then with her past with Winter Solider, like, she should have a part in this, yes? Yes.
OH OH HEY SO THIS WAS A LONG TIME AGO, BUT YOUR THOUGHTS ARE ALL GOOD THOUGHTS AND YOU SHOULD FEEL GOOD.

I AM STILL SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS.

I THINK I FINALLY NEED TO ADMIT THAT I SHIP STEVE/BUCKY MORE THAN STEVE/TONY.
Any comments are always appreciated especially when they have to do with Steve and/or Bucky!

And yes, it's important to admit those kinds of things, it means your fellow Steve/Bucky shippers will know you and your journal are a safe port in the sea of Avengers feels, which seems to have a very powerful Steve/Tony current. That was maybe more of an extended metaphor than it needed to be, but whatever. Steve/Bucky <3<3<3

(It's not that I don't also love Steve/Tony and get why everyone ships it so hard, but I'm more a Steve/Bucky[/Natasha] girl, especially movieverse)
