Dr. Sarah McAnulty, founder of Skype a Scientist, has received the 2020 award from the James Randi Educational Foundation. The award is given each year to a person or organization that strongly represents the pro-science and critical thinking values of the foundation.

Formed in 2017, Skype a Scientist has enabled free informal conversations, via video conferences, between working scientists and students in thousands of classrooms in 43 countries around the world. This is especially important this year when in-person contacts are limited.
