Webcam not working when Arch installed without it
I installed Arch multiple times. When the webcam is on, it works perfectly, but when I install having the webcam button turned off (so the webcam is physically turned off), it never works again.
`v4l2-ctl --list-devices`
Cannot open device /dev/video0, exiting.
I somehow managed to force load uvcvideo, but still get the same error. I have no idea how to fix it, I don't want to reinstall Arch again DaWe (talk) 14:46, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
- I can't get the camera to work on my 14t-ea000. There's no obvious camera entry in the output of lsusb. Can someone else with a working camera show me the output of lsusb? Krupan (talk) 21:14, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
