I couldn't reproduce the mentioned issues. Three different USB-C adapters worked just fine on my device:

- A Lenovo 1GBit adapter ("Lenovo USB-C to LAN", using r8152 driver, RTL8156 chip)

- The Framework 2.5Gbit Ethernet expansion card (also using r8125 driver)

- Some china-brand (mint houz) 5GBit adapter with a RTL8157 chip (using cdc_ncm driver)

Maybe the issues have been fixed in recent kernels or recent BIOS? DGibson (talk) 21:31, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
