As of 26/10/2025, version 9.0.0 of Cisco Packet Tracer is shown by default in the provided link (https://www.packettracernetwork.com/download-packet-tracer.html). It is also what the newest packettracer package MAKEPKG file expects.

Sadly, the AppImage spawns some stuff in the user's home directory. Because of that, Packet Tracer cannot be uninstalled normally and requires the user to clean u their user directory Adiee5 (talk) 15:58, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
