what was so inaccurate about this? Stating "as we discussed somewhere with somebody" is not a good enough reason for the edit summary, since readers still have no idea what the actual reason is. Please elaborate.

I was just about to press "Save page". Heh. Yes, is there a link to this thing? The edit doesn't seem to explain the benefit in SHA-512. Preimage resistance after all is not the same as collision resistance. -- 18:54, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
