Pink Cloud is the sixth Your Sanctuary location in EarthBound, guarded by Thunder and Storm. The entrance to its caves is located in the south of Dalaam, but is obstructed by three rabbit statues that require the Carrot key to remove.

Layout

The dungeon is relatively short and straightforward. It revolves around climbing to the highest point and then falling into holes. In one area are three holes which lead to different areas of the cave, only the leftmost hole will progress to the end, the other two will drop the party to the wrong areas and force them to restart from the beginning.

The leftmost hole will drop the party into a single cave containing a Rock candy, then the next hole leads to Thunder and Storm. Near the Sanctuary is a hole which is used as an exit after the Melody is collected.

Role in EarthBound

After collecting Magnet Hill's Melody, the party returns to Dalaam to obtain the Melody of Pink Cloud. Using the Carrot key Ness found, the rabbit statues blocking the entrance disappear allowing them to enter.

They defeat Thunder and Storm at the end and open the way to Pink Cloud. There, Ness has a short vision of seeing his mother when she was young. His Sound Stone records the Melody of Pink Cloud.
